Privacy
The short version: we don't collect anything about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no trackers — on this website or in the 365 Days in the Bible app.
What this covers
This policy covers the website at thewellspoken.life and the 365 Days in the Bible app for iPhone. Both are made by The Well Spoken.
Information we collect
None. We do not ask for your name, your email address, or any other personal information. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no account and no profile.
We do not use analytics software, advertising networks, or third-party tracking of any kind. The website sets no cookies.
Your reading progress
When you mark a day complete, that is remembered so you can pick up where you left off. It is stored only on the device you are using — in your browser's local storage on the website, and on the device itself in the app. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.
One consequence is worth knowing in advance: because your progress lives on your device rather than in an account, clearing your browser data, deleting the app, or moving to a new phone will start you over. We would rather tell you that up front than collect your email to prevent it.
How the app gets its readings
All 365 days are included in the app, so it works with no connection at all. When it can reach the internet, the app may quietly check this website for corrected wording, so a fix reaches you without waiting for an app update.
That check is an ordinary web request. Like any request on the internet, it has to include your device's IP address in order for the reply to find its way back to you. We do not record or store those requests, and nothing about the request is connected to you or to your reading.
Where the site is hosted
This website and its files are served by Amazon Web Services on our behalf. Delivering a page necessarily involves AWS handling the request. We have not enabled request logging, so those requests are not retained by us.
Children
Because nothing is collected from anyone, nothing is collected from children either.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. If a change ever meant we started collecting something, it would be said plainly here rather than buried.
